J. MICHAEL ZYGO (Tour Direction, Musical Direction and recreation of Original Movement )
 is honored and thrilled to be recreating this Tony Award winning production. As an original Broadway and Off-Broadway cast member, he feels a special attachment to the incredible work realized by the original cast and creative team. Recent credits include Director of Once at Pittsburgh CLO, Music Director / Associate Choreographer of Once at The Fulton Theatre / Virginia Repertory Theatre. Original cast member/musician of Tony Award winning Once on Broadway and featured on the Grammy Award winning cast album. ENDA WALSH (Book) is an acclaimed playwright, screenwriter and director. His recent work includes the play Arlington and the opera The Second Violinist which both premiered at the Galway International Arts Festival in 2016 and 2017 respectively. He also worked on the new musical, Lazarus, with David Bowie, which opened at New York Theatre Workshop in December 2015. His work has been translated into many languages and has been performed internationally since 1996. In 2014 he received an Honorary Doctorate from Galway University. Enda is currently adapting and directing Max Porter’s Grief is the Thing with Feathers for Complicite.

GLEN HANSARD (Music and Lyrics) is an award-winning musician with a host of real-life songs and lilting vocals that reflect a passion for his diverse influences. Film: The Commitments and Once. Albums: Didn’t He Ramble,Rhythm and Repose, Strict Joy, the soundtrack of Once (Academy Award for Best Original Song, ‘Falling Slowly’; Olivier award for Outstanding Musical Contribution), The Swell Season, The Cost, Burn the Maps, Set List, For the Birds, Dance the Devil, Fitzcarraldo and Another Love Song. Glen is currently touring the world supporting his latest solo album release Between Two Shores.

MARKETA IRGLOVA’ (Music and Lyrics) is an Academy Award winning musician and actor born in the Czech Republic. Film: Once and Milluji tě Modře. Albums: Muna, Anar, The Swell Season, the soundtrack of Once (Academy Award for Best Original Song, ‘Falling Slowly’, Olivier award for Outstanding Musical Contribution), Strict Joy. Markéta is currently writing songs for her third solo album alongside various other musical projects for stage and screen.

JOHN CARNEY (Writer and Director of Motion Picture) is a Dublin-based writer-director who came to the world’s attention following the box office hit and critically acclaimed musical feature film Once, which garnered multiple Independent Spirit, Sundance and Raindance awards. Previously, John was a bassist in the Irish rock band the Frames, where he met Glen Hansard. These musical roots continue to be evident in John’s work with his latest production, Can a Song Save Your Life?. Other projects include Dogs of Babel for David Heyman and Nathan Kahane starring Steve Carrell and a feature adaptation of M.R. James’s Casting the Runes for Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

JOHN TIFFANY (Original Direction and Production Concept) won Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for his work on Once. SHAUN PEKNIC (Associate Director) is a theatre director with a love for the development of new plays and musicals. His work is focused on stories that explore queer identity, family trauma, and the subconscious. Shaun was the 2015 Lee Strasberg Institute Directing Fellow. He was the Associate/Resident Director for Once (Broadway, National Tours, West End, etc.) He has served as the Artistic Associate and Director of Education with Musical Theatre Factory and as the Producing Artistic Director for the 10th Anniversary Season of Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. EVAN ADAMSON (Set Coordinator) Previous productions of Once:  Japan, Korea, Toronto, 1st National Tour. Evan is a New York City–based scenery designer for theatre and live entertainment.  His experience has spanned a wide range of endeavors, from the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City, to the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop in Times Square to the Emmy nominated Opening Ceremonies at the Winter Olympics in Russia.  He has contributed to 15 Broadway productions, as an Associate Set Designer, more than half of which were nominated for, or won the Tony Award for Best Set Design.  Additionally, he has designed over 100 productions regionally in the U.S., and he has worked extensively abroad in both Europe and Asia.  Evan is a proud member of United Scenic Artists – Local 829. In 2019, his design of A Christmas Carol won the Big Easy Award for Best Set Design in New Orleans, and his design of Mamma Mia! won the Broadway World Award for Best Set Design in Southwest Florida.

RUSSELL A. THOMPSON (Lighting Design/Production Manager) Designs include the international and national tour of The Wizard of Oz, national tours of Pippin, Million Dollar Quartet, Memphis, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Hair, Fiddler on the Roof, All Shook Up, Footloose, The Wedding Singer, and Beehive the 60’s Musical, the world premiere of Around the World in 80 Days and the regional premiere of The Civil War. Prather Productions designs include Jesus Christ Superstar, Hairspray, Rent, 9 to 5, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jekyll & Hyde, Yeston & Kopit’s Phantom, Swing!, Ragtime, Peter Pan, Buddy, Legally Blonde and Cats. His designs for West Side Story, Aida and Miss Saigon have earned him three awards. Prior to joining Prather Productions, Russell lived in New York where his credits ranged from Club MTV to Manhattan School of Music.

KIMBERLY D’AGNESE (Production Stage Manager) A New England based stage manager and graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a BA in Theatre & Dance and MEd in Theatre Education. National Tour: A Christmas Carol (Perseverance Productions). Regional: On Golden Pond, Moon Over Buffalo, Avenue Q (Winnipesaukee Playhouse); Rock of Ages, Spring Awakening, The Rocky Horror Show, Xanadu, A New Brain, In The Heights (Seacoast Repertory Theatre); Long Day’s Journey Into Night (Threshold Stage Company); A Christmas Carol (Prescott Park Arts Festival); and She Loves Me (Hackmatack Playhouse).

LANDON SHAW (Company Manager) is ecstatic to be joining the Prather Family once again as the Company Manager for the national tour of Once. Notable Company Manager credits include: Cirque Dreams Holidaze, Million Dollar Quartet, Cape Playhouse (91st Season), Spring Awakening, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and several national tours of A Christmas Carol. Landon has been lucky enough to work professionally in the performing arts industry for over 25 years in a career that has taken him all over the country. Over those years, he has worn many “hats” including; actor, director, producer, artistic director, company manager, general manager, stage manager, playwright, educator and designer. BRIAN ENZMAN (Artistic Producer/Casting) 32 years with the Prather Company (APEX/Prather Touring/ Dutch Apple- Lancaster, PA and Broadway Palm- Ft Myers, FL). He has been involved in over 200 productions from the first show at the Dutch Apple in 1987 (A Chorus Line) to the 2018 national tour of Cabaret. As resident director, credits include Phantom, Les Miserables, The Civil War, Jekyll and Hyde, The Drowsy Chaperone, South Pacific, Hello Dolly, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Cabaret, Gypsy, Mame, The King and I, Damn Yankees, The Music Man and Annie to name a few. SOBON (Artistic Producer/Casting) Lauren has been with Prather Productions for over 29 years and has either produced, directed, choreographed, cast or performed in over 100 productions for the company. Recent credits include serving as the Associate Producer/Casting Director for the recent national tour of Pippin and Director/Casting for the 2016 national tour of Million Dollar Quartet. Other national tours: Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Fiddler On The Roof, Gypsy, Annie Get Your Gun. Regional: A Wonderful Life, Shrek, Honky Tonk Angels, A Christmas Carol, How To Succeed …, The Once and The Sound of Music.

PRATHER TOURING/WILLIAM T. PRATHER (Executive Producer) Past national tours include Footloose, The Wedding Singer, BLAST, Fiddler on the Roof, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Memphis, Million Dollar Quartet, Pippin, and the Tony Award winning musical, Cabaret. The Wizard of Oz tour performed in the United States and then performed internationally this season. William T. Prather is the Executive Producer of Prather Touring and is a second-generation theatre producer following in the footsteps of his parents, Tom and Debbie Prather who produced live theatre for over 50 years. He is a graduate of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and returned to the family business in 1993 after spending a couple of years in the corporate world. As Executive Producer of Prather Productions, he produces more than 32 shows each year in their regional theatres in Pennsylvania and Florida.

APEX TOURING (Producer) Highlighting their fourth tour season with the national tours of Once and Finding Neverland and the international tour of The Wizard of Oz which recently played throughout China and in the Kingdom of Bahrain and will be heading to the Middle East this fall.
